Hydrasurvey specializes in providing independent, third party sludge surveys in municipal wastewater lagoons and industrial wastewater ponds across Canada and the United States.

Hydrasurvey was founded in 2017 in Alberta to help engineers, operators and wastewater managers deal with the growing issue of sludge build-up in lagoons and ponds. Today we proudly serve clients coast to coast in Canada and the United States with offices in Alberta and Ontario.

Meet the Leadership Team

Andrew Ambrocichuk, P. Eng.
CEO
Andrew started Hydrasurvey in 2017 with a vision to improve the wastewater industry. Andrew has a background in engineering, marine construction and commercial diving. This experience gave him insight into a niche which he has grown Hydrasurvey to fill. Andrew is constantly learning and refining Hydrasurvey’s standard for quality and precision. Andrew enjoys traveling, hiking and being out on the water.

Rafael Machado
GIS LEAD
As a Geographer, Environmental Engineer and Geomatics Engineering Technologist, Rafael has worked with GIS in the environmental sector. Rafael contributes to the company's growth by developing and improving surveying and data analysis methodologies. Rafael's expertise in GIS, helps Hydrasurvey deliver a high-standard product for our clients. Rafael enjoys riding his bicycle, trekking, and reading about geopolitics and economics.

Courtney Felton
PROJECT LEAD
Courtney brings a science and research background to Hydrasurvey. She has experience managing a research operation where she honed her skills in human resources, customer service and collaboration. Courtney enjoys developing solutions for clients, streamlining processes and establishing new markets where Hydrasurvey services can be helpful. Courtney loves animals and the outdoors.
